Who We Are
Bangladesh Baptist Church Sangha (BBCS) is a thriving fellowship of over 390 churches spread across Bangladesh, serving as hubs for worship, prayer, education, healthcare, and community development.
Our mission is to establish strong, revived, and inter-dependent congregations that embody the Gospel and values of Jesus Christ. With deep historical roots as the oldest Protestant denomination in the country, we remain forward-looking and committed to God’s ongoing work in Bangladesh.
We believe mission is in our DNA – inspired by our founding missionary Dr. William Carey, we continue to live out the call to “expect great things from God, attempt great things for God.” Today, we are actively planting churches, running schools, caring for the vulnerable, and responding to natural disasters with compassion and love.
In 2022, we celebrated 225 years of ministry in Bengal. On this occasion, we renewed our vision to grow and impact more lives over the next decade. We invite you to partner with us in this transformative mission.
