Bangladeshi society is largely monoculture, where a notable number of aboriginal or indigenous minority communities are living named: Santal, Malo, Mahali, Oraon and so on but they are deprived form their right and hardly recognized as human being. Even they are loosing their assets and becoming landless day by day as the majority people are occupying their land and properties. SHED Board would like to help the indigenous community providing institutional support to establish their socio economic rights through organizing them. As women play a vital role in indigenous community so SHED Board has started to implement Indigenous Woman Empowerment program since August 15, 2012 in Tanor sub-district under Nawabgonj district
